Bulbul has been the principal at Accountant First since 2011. As a business owner himself, he understands the issues that confront business owners. His primary focus is helping clients with strategies to grow their revenues, profits and business value. He takes a hands on approach with clients and regularly visits clients at their place of business. Bulbul says,” I get an insight into the client’s business that you simply can’t see from the office. You get a feel for their product or service, systems, equipment and staff that is invaluable. I also find clients are more open on their home turf and the service is a real point of difference to other accounting firms where the staff are glued to their chairs”.
Bulbul’s objective with clients from day one has been to solve their tax and financial problems and make sure they capitalise on opportunities as the present themselves. He is emphatic about the team becoming very knowledgeable about the clients’ businesses and says. “When you truly understand the business and the specific industry issues you can develop strategies and formulate solutions using the right set of consulting tools. If you really want to help business owners understand their numbers and improve their results you have to speak their language and know what the industry benchmarks are so you can identify what is working in the business and what needs working on. Bulbul’s specialist technical skills include tax planning, business structures, consulting and business planning. He is passionate about the success of his clients and specialises in asset protection, cash flow management and business analysis. Over 10 years experience in public accounting practice has given Bulbul a deep understanding of the compliance and taxation needs of client in the small business sector.

Afsana is an energetic new professional to our business who doesn’t mind wearing multiple hats.Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative tasks and an executive support to the business. she brings in her 10 years of experience in working with Australian market leading company like Zip heaters Aust Pty Ltd. she has worked in different areas art Zip over that period of time, like customer service, administration and quotation & sale support team.
Afsana is well organised, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. she does a very good job in liaising between our internal and external stakeholders by ensuring our office communication and numbers, therefore she helps us to provide an excellent customer service to our clients.
Afsana is also taking our insurance service under her wing, which is creating a brand new prospect of business for our organisation. She is passionate about our insurance service and strongly believes in its necessity for our valuable clients.

Mafruha recently moved from Overseas and started working with us in Administration. She holds Masters of Commerce degree from Overseas.
